Genmaicha Tea

About

Genmaicha is brown rice green tea, developed originally during World War II. Made from green tea mixed with roasted brown rice, it is popular in Japan and Korea and has the typical aroma of green tea enhanced by a strong fragrance of roasted brown rice. Pleasant after a typical Japanese Sushi meal, or Korean Barbecue, Genmaicha has become known as "the people's tea" as it is now equally attractive to both the discerning and popular market tea drinkers.
